The All Saints Track team has had a wonderful first season. We had nine participants from grades 3-8 attend the Finals on
Saturday, May 3, and all nine participants will be attending the Diocese Meet to represent All Saints Parish. Following are
the names of the participants:
Sam Bush (7th) Tetherball Toss and Softball (Alternate)
Malika Carter (4th) 100 meter and 50 meter
Sharonda Clark (7th) 200 meter
Joshua Delaney (8th) 800 meter and 100 meter
Allen Gutierrez (3rd) 800 meter
Atiya Harvey (3rd) 200 meter and 100 meter
Blane Infald (3rd) 400 meter
Jessica Infald (5th) 800 meter and 400 meter
Christine Saccomanno (5th) Tetherball Toss
They participated in running and throwing on Friday, May 9, and Saturday, May 10 against the best of the Oakland Diocese.
The K-2 members of our team ran in their finals on Sunday, May 4. They took home several medals, including both Girls and
Boys Kindergarten teams who won first place in the 4 x 100 meter relay race.
We saw many smiles from both children and parents alike during the regular season. The only disappointment was when we could
not find enough participants to run in the relays. We have runners on our team. This was our first season and we had 32
children signed up for the team. We hope that many of you will consider this sport in your spring plans next year.
I would also like to thank both of the coaches: Josie Lostica (K-2) and Jesse Casey (3-8). I believe that they had just as
much fun as our children and went home just as tired after each meet. And thank you to the parents who brought the children
all the way to Fremont, often with the threat of bad weather.
